Meeting people and sharing dreams
A diversified-opportunity investment, born from the meeting of two people who wanted to fly: Raphael, administrator of RFJP Capital, taking advantage of how easy it is to travel around Europe, and Angie, the daughter of a person close to his family in Spain, a young tourism graduate who wanted to start her own business —a travel agency— and was looking to make her dream come true and let her aspirations soar.
One opportunity leads to another
A venture capital investment, with the potential to become strategic in the future, in a startup created by José Luis, a young technology prodigy and the son of one of the partners with whom Raphael had a partnership in Brazil. Initially, Raphael’s intention was to develop a joint investment with the father in Spain; however, during that process and after several informal conversations about the Brazilian cybersecurity market and its opportunities, an invitation arose to take part as an investor in this new project with the son.
Linking experiences
I met Marc at a Santander branch, as the manager of my corporate accounts in Spain. In every conversation I shared a little of my story, whether in Brazil or in Spain.
I think I sparked his curiosity when I mentioned that my initial goal, the one that had brought me to Barcelona, was to join as a partner and support a project whose minority investor was a member of the family that founded Santander, with whom I had had lunch in Madrid.
After many visits to the branch, he introduced me to an opportunity to operate in the real estate market, much as I had done with my brother-in-law in Brazil. That is how he introduced me to Xavi, his friend, who had already been venturing into this market for some time.
After many property visits, we decided to join forces and knowledge by founding Xarama, to build something bigger, more structured and lasting in the thriving real estate market of Barcelona and its surroundings.
